Warranty Policy

Warranty Coverage

  • All products sold by Elegant Furnishings come with a one-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. This includes structural issues, hardware malfunctions, and other faults arising from poor craftsmanship or materials.
  • Upholstered items, such as sofas and chairs, have additional coverage for fabric and cushioning, ensuring they remain in optimal condition for at least one year from the purchase date.

Consumer Guarantees

In compliance with Australian Consumer Law, our warranty is provided in addition to other rights and remedies you may have under the law. Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Warranty Conditions

  • The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
  • The warranty is valid only for products used under normal residential conditions and does not cover damages caused by improper use, negligence, accidents, commercial use, or natural wear and tear.
  • Proof of purchase is required to access warranty services.

Warranty Claims Process

  • Upon receiving your claim, our team will assess the situation either through photographic evidence or an on-site inspection.

Exclusions

  • The warranty does not cover incidental damages or loss, such as lost time or inconvenience.
  • Any modification or alteration of the product voids the warranty.
  • Clearance, final sale items, and products sold "as-is" are excluded from warranty coverage.

Extended Warranty

  • Customers have the option to purchase an extended warranty plan, which provides additional coverage beyond the standard one-year period. Details and pricing for extended warranties are available at the time of purchase or upon inquiry.
